Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of products and services provided through nordensite.com and the NordenSite Operations Cloud platform at app.nordensite.com ("the Platform"), operated by Nordensite ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Our products and services are intended for business customers (B2B). If you are a consumer, statutory consumer rights under applicable law may also apply.
2. Products and services
Nordensite provides:
- Hardware kits: GPS fleet tracking devices (OBD trackers, asset trackers) sold as one-time purchases.
- NordenSite Operations Cloud: a subscription-based software platform that provides real-time vehicle tracking, trip history, geofence alerts, and fleet management tools.
All product descriptions, images, and specifications on the site are provided as accurately as possible but may vary slightly from the physical product. We reserve the right to modify product offerings, pricing, and availability at any time without prior notice.
3. Account and workspace
To use the Platform, you must create an account and a workspace. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
The workspace owner is responsible for managing team members, roles, and permissions within their workspace. Workspace owners must ensure that all users with access to the Platform comply with these Terms.
4. Subscription and billing
Access to the Operations Cloud platform requires a monthly subscription per tracked device. Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe.
- Free trial: new device activations include a 30-day free trial. No payment information is required during the trial period.
- Billing: after the trial period, a valid payment method is required to continue using the Platform. Subscriptions renew automatically each month.
- Cancellation: you may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
- Failed payments: if a payment fails, we will attempt to collect payment again. After a grace period, your subscription may be suspended and live tracking features will be paused until payment is resolved.
- Price changes:we may adjust subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Platform after a price change constitutes acceptance.
5. Hardware orders and payment
All orders are subject to acceptance by us. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order for any reason, including suspected fraud, stock limitations, or pricing errors.
- Currencies: prices are listed in EUR and USD.
- Payment methods: we accept credit/debit cards via Stripe.
- Payment processing: all payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
- Tax: prices shown may exclude VAT. Applicable VAT will be calculated at checkout based on your delivery country.
6. Shipping and delivery
We ship from within the European Union. Delivery times and shipping costs vary by destination and will be displayed at checkout. Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed.
Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery. If a shipment is damaged or lost in transit, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date so we can investigate and resolve the issue.
7. Returns and refunds
Hardware orders may be cancelled and fully refunded at any time before shipment. To cancel, email us at contact@nordensite.com with your order number.
Once an order has shipped, returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for products in unused, original condition with all packaging intact. Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility unless the product is defective or we shipped the wrong item.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 business days of receiving the returned product.
8. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the Platform to track individuals without a lawful basis or without their knowledge where required by law
- Attempt to access, interfere with, or disrupt other customers' data or accounts
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Platform
- Use the Platform in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service
- Resell or redistribute access to the Platform without our written consent
9. Data processing and GDPR
The Platform processes GPS location data from tracked vehicles. Where this data can be linked to identifiable individuals (e.g. assigned drivers), it constitutes personal data under GDPR.
- You (the customer) are the data controller for vehicle telemetry data collected through your workspace. You are responsible for establishing a lawful basis for processing and informing your employees or drivers.
- We (Nordensite) act as your data processor and process this data only on your instructions and for the purpose of providing the Platform service.
- A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available upon request by contacting contact@nordensite.com.

10. Service availability
We aim to provide the Platform on a continuous, 24/7 basis. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
We are not liable for any loss of data or business interruption caused by temporary service unavailability. We recommend customers maintain independent records of critical fleet data.
11. Warranty
All hardware products sold by Nordensite come with a 1-year limited warranty from the date of delivery. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper installation, modification, accident, water damage (unless the product is rated as waterproof), or normal wear and tear.
To make a warranty claim, contact us at contact@nordensite.com with your order number and a description of the issue. We will repair, replace, or refund the product at our discretion.
The Platform software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nordensite shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of our products or services, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, business interruption, or property damage.
Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Intellectual property
All content on the site and Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Nordensite or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our written permission.
You retain ownership of all data you upload to or generate through the Platform, including vehicle telemetry data. We claim no intellectual property rights over your data.
14. Account termination
You may delete your account and workspace at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your subscription will be cancelled, and your telemetry data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, including the acceptable use policy. We will provide reasonable notice where possible.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Norway.
For EU consumers: you may also be entitled to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of the site or Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
